Am I the only one who had a whole Tuesday go sideways because of one dead battery in a laser level?
Last Tuesday I had a bathroom tile job in Aurora and everything went wrong from the jump. My laser level died on me right after I set the first row, and I did not have a spare set of batteries in the truck, which is on me. I ran to the gas station down the street and paid $9 for a 4 pack that turned out to be the wrong size, so I had to drive 20 minutes to the hardware store. By the time I got back I had lost almost 2 hours and the homeowner was giving me the side eye the whole time. I still finished the walls but I was rushing at the end and I know the spacing on the last row is a hair off. That one dead battery cost me the whole day's flow and I am still annoyed about it. What do you all keep in your truck as a backup kit so a single dead tool does not wreck your schedule?
