I finally stopped using my old framing nailer after a client pointed out it was leaving marks on their custom trim.

Oh man, that's the best kind of wake-up call. Nothing like a paying customer's side-eye to finally retire a beat-up tool. Guess we all need that little nudge sometimes.

Yeah I always thought those marks were just part of the job. Seeing it on a customer's nice trim totally changed my mind though.

Right? It's crazy how you can get used to your own beat up gear until you see it through someone else's eyes. What did you end up doing, just swapping out the tool right away? I feel like a lot of guys would try to make excuses first lol.
