Lost a whole Tuesday because I forgot to charge my impact batteries
Packed up for a deck rebuild and got to the jobsite ready to go. Pulled out my drill and both batteries were dead. Had to drive 40 minutes round trip to grab a charger and wait. Wasted half the day. Made me think about how much we rely on these tools now. Back in my dad's day he just had a hammer and a saw. Anyone else have a day get wrecked by something stupid like that?

Ugh that's the worst feeling when you're all hyped to get started and then bam, dead batteries. I swear half my Monday morning problems come down to forgetting to plug stuff in the night before. Totally feel your pain on losing half a day to something so simple.

Oh man, that stings. Did the same thing last month with my sawzall, had to borrow a neighbor's corded one and felt like a caveman.

Is it really a project if your tools don't make you question your life choices right when you need them most? Nothing like a quick trip to the stone age to make you appreciate the guy next door.
