My rotary laser took a dive and cost me a full day of work

Last Tuesday in Tacoma my PLS-5 rotary laser just stopped leveling mid-layout for a retaining wall. I spent 6 hours troubleshooting the receiver, the tripod, even swapped batteries twice before I found out the internal pendulum got knocked loose from a bump in my truck. Has anyone else had a self-leveling laser break on the inside with no visible damage?
