Vent: Showed up to a resi job with a dead hammer drill battery on a Monday morning
Last week I drove 30 minutes to a bathroom reno in Smyrna. Pulled out my hammer drill to put up some blocking, and the battery was dead. Completely dead. Forgot to charge it over the weekend. Had to drive back 15 minutes to my shop to grab the spare. Set me back an hour and the homeowner was watching me the whole time. Anyone else got a story about that one dumb mistake that threw off your whole morning?

That dead battery feeling is the worst. Did the exact same thing last month.

Got a trick to share that saved me time?

Honestly I've never found battery issues to be that bad if you just keep up with basic maintenance. People overreact to a simple jump start.
