Am I the only one who stopped watermarking proofs after a client in Phoenix paid me $400 for a shoot I never did?
Used to slap watermarks on every proof until a Phoenix client in 2022 paid me $400 for a shoot that never happened because my watermark was so faint she thought the blurry sample was the final, so now I send low res proofs with a visible logo and a note saying the real files come after payment, and has anyone else had a client confuse a proof for a finished file?
