DAE realize they were giving away copyright by not spellchecking their contracts for 3 years?
A client in Austin ghosted me on a $1,800 invoice last spring, and when I finally read my own contract I saw the work for hire clause was a typo-ridden mess that basically handed them everything. Now I'm wondering how many other freelancers out there never actually read the fine print they send out.

A typo in a contract can't hand over copyright unless both sides actually agreed to it.
