My old art teacher said something about copying in 2004 that I still think about
She said "if you're gonna steal, steal from the best, then make it yours" and honestly half my early gigs were me doing exactly that with other people's layouts. Now I see guys getting hit with claims over stuff that's barely a remix, and I wonder where the line actually sits for anyone else here.
