The stock photo that walked off with my logo design

Last spring I did a logo for a food truck in Austin, spent about 14 hours on it, and three weeks later the owner told me he 'found something similar online' and paid a guy $50 to trace it. Turns out that $50 guy pulled the same stock vector I'd licensed for the base, and now my original sits in a folder while his copy is on the truck. Has anyone else had a client swap your work for a cheaper knockoff and then act like you should be flattered?
