Vent: a gallery in Santa Fe put my photo in a show without telling me
I found out when a friend sent me a picture of my own print hanging on their wall with a $200 price tag and someone else's name under it. Has anyone dealt with a gallery pulling this, and did sending a DMCA takedown actually get the piece removed?

That part about the $200 price tag with someone else's name under it made my blood boil, because the exact same thing happened to me at a spot in Albuquerque two years back. The DMCA route did work for me, but the gallery dragged its feet for almost a month and only pulled it after I cc'd the platform's legal email and showed I had my original RAW files with dates. Save every screenshot and your file metadata before you send anything, because they will try to act like the print just showed up on their wall by magic.
