A 7 year old asked me why my foils looked like spaghetti and now I do placement differently

Had a kid in the chair last week while I was foiling his mom. He goes "why is her hair wearing spaghetti?" and honestly he wasn't wrong, my sections were all messy and overlapping. I used to just grab and go but now I take 2 extra minutes per section to keep them straight and spaced. It's genuinely cleaner results and the kid was lowkey a genius. Anyone else get accidental advice from a random bystander that stuck?

My buddy Mark does landscaping and this old guy on a porch yelled at him that his hedges looked like "drunk caterpillars." He's been cutting them in straight lines ever since, it actually looks way better now. Kids and old dudes just say what everyone's thinking, you know?
