A color theory class in Phoenix taught me that 80% of clients pick the same 3 shades
I sat in on a continuing ed class last month in Phoenix and the instructor dropped a stat that stuck with me. She said about 80% of clients bring in photos of the same handful of shades, mostly warm blondes and chocolate browns. I started keeping a tally at my chair and she was right, 14 out of my last 18 color clients picked something in that range. I stopped stocking the weird fashion colors I was sure would sell and put that money into more toner options. What shades do your clients keep asking for that you wish they would let go of?
