Client at my salon in Dallas asked for 'subtle layers' and brought a pic of a mullet
Last Saturday a lady sat in my chair at the shop in Dallas and handed me a phone with a full on 80s mullet on the screen, saying she wanted "just a little layering" like that. I asked her three times if she meant the short sides too, she said yes, so I cut it, and she stared at the mirror for a solid 20 seconds before asking why it looked so short in the back. Now I keep a cheap wig in my kit so next time I can show them exactly what a mullet is before I pick up the clippers, but what do you all do when a client swears the photo and their words match but they really don't?
