Clipper guards vs a comb and scissors on a fade, I'll die on this hill
I had a walk in last Tuesday afternoon at my chair in Sacramento, guy wanted a skin fade with a bit of length on top. I used to do the whole thing with guards, and the blend always showed a faint line at the parietal. This time I set my clippers down after the 1.5 and finished the transition with a comb and scissors. The blend disappeared, and the client actually turned his head in the mirror twice. Anyone else find that the last inch of a fade just needs steel, not plastic?
