Keratin treatment blowout at a salon in Denver made me question if we're overpromising clients

I watched a stylist charge $350 for a treatment that barely lasted 6 weeks on curly hair, and while she swore by the results, the client walked out crying after it frizzed in the rain 3 days later so what's the real line between what we sell and what nature decides?

Oh man, this reminds me of when my cousin got a Brazilian blowout right before a beach vacation and it completely fried her hair into this weird crispy texture. She spent the whole trip with it in a bun crying about how she wasted her money. But here's the thing, she still defends the salon to this day saying it was her fault for not following the aftercare instructions. I guess we all want to believe in magic even when reality keeps showing us the fine print.

$350 for hair peace that lasts less time than a box of hair dye. Mother Nature always wins, we're just renting the illusion for a few weeks.

I mean it's just hair though right? It'll grow back. Feels like we're acting like she committed a crime or something.
