My client's husband thought I was a plumber because of my tool bag

I was doing a color correction for a regular, Mrs. Henderson, and her husband walked in, saw my kit with all the brushes and clips, and asked if I was there to fix the kitchen sink. He said, 'You've got more tools than my mechanic.' It made me think about how our gear must look to people outside the trade. Has a client ever made a totally wrong guess about what you do?

Oh man, that's hilarious. I had a client once ask if my mixing bowls were for a new kind of salad. Like yeah, I'm just out here carrying a giant metal bowl of croutons and a hand blender for the dressing. What's the weirdest guess you've gotten? I bet some people see the foils and think you're wrapping leftovers.

Ha, @max716, someone once asked if my foil was for a science project.

Honestly, is a wrong guess that big of a deal?
