The Saturday every color formula went sideways
About 5 years ago I had one day where three different clients all wanted the same ash brown and every single one pulled warm or green. One lady actually looked at me and said "this is not what I asked for" which never happens in my chair. I spent two extra hours fixing all of them and skipped lunch, but that day taught me to always strand test twice even for repeat formulas. Has anyone else had a day where the color gods just decided to mess with you?

That same day probably made you a better judge of undertones than any class ever could.

100% agree, @abbyhall. That day taught me more about reading people than any textbook ever did. I swear I can spot a fake smile from across a room now (thanks to that one disastrous group project, ha).
