My solo coffee shop grind versus finding a real spot in Austin

I used to just camp at any coffee shop with wifi for my freelance work, but the noise and buying a drink every two hours got old. About six months ago, I joined The Commune coworking space downtown and it changed everything, I actually have a quiet desk and met three other web designers there. Has anyone else found a specific coworking spot that really clicked for them?

The "vibe was just right" hunt is basically our generation's version of trying to find a good parking spot.

Yeah, my friend in Denver was in the same boat. She tried a few spots and ended up at this place called The Lab on Platte. Said the vibe was just right, not too quiet but not loud, and she found a whole group of graphic designers there. It made her actually want to go in and work.

That "vibe was just right" part is so key, @juliaa65. I feel like that's the hardest thing to find. Was it the music or the lighting or just the kind of people who hung out there that made it click for her? Places that are too quiet make me anxious, but loud coffee shops are worse.
