PSA: a coworking day pass in Austin costs less than my parking spot downtown did
I grabbed a $25 day pass at a spot on Congress Ave last month just to get out of my apartment, and the guy at the front desk told me they host a freelancer meetup every second Thursday. I always figured coworking was for people with real offices, but there were 14 of us there, mostly designers and one tax guy. Anyone got a spot in their city that does cheap day passes like this?

The WorkBar on 6th does a $20 pass if you book before 10am, and they've got free cold brew on tap which basically pays for itself. I did the math once and it was cheaper than buying two coffees and sitting at a cafe all day. Their front desk lady Dana will tell you about the Thursday happy hour if you ask. Just check the day pass hours first, some spots cut you off at 5pm sharp.
