Did the laptop survive or did you have to replace it?

@the_sage, laptop actually survived. Read somewhere that a lot of the newer models have better seals around the keyboard deck, so spills just drain out a dedicated port instead of frying the motherboard. Mine was one of those, lucky enough. Dried it out for 48 hours with rice and a fan, fired right back up. Still smells faintly of coffee though.
