Swapped coffee shop hopping for a dedicated desk at a coworking space
I spent 6 months working from different cafes around Austin. My productivity jumped maybe 20% after I rented a fixed desk at Crema Coworking for $250 a month. Anyone else see a big shift after ditching the coffee shops?

I actually watched a video from some productivity YouTuber who broke down how much time the average cafe worker wastes on stuff like finding a seat and dealing with spotty internet. Something like 45 minutes a day. So your 20% bump makes total sense when you add that up over a month. The fixed desk just removes all those little friction points.

Honestly, you said your productivity jumped 20% after switching to a desk at Crema. That's cool, but tbh that might not be just from the desk itself. You're probably forgetting all the distractions at a coffee shop that you ditched, like waiting in line or bad WiFi. Fixed desks are solid for focus, but the real win is cutting out the chaos, not just the location.

Yeah cutting out the chaos is key, I'd probably waste 45 minutes just trying to find my own keys at a coffee shop.
