Switched from a dedicated desk to a floating pass, best call yet
I spent 6 months at a fixed desk in a downtown Denver space paying $350 a month, but I kept missing the variety of faces and energy. A friend at a meetup said, "you're paying for a chair, not a community," and that hit me. I swapped to a $150 floating pass at a different spot near Union Station that has changing daily seating. Now I bounce between the window nook and the communal table, and I've actually talked to more people in 2 weeks than I did in all those months. Plus I saved $200 that I put toward a proper noise-canceling headset. Has anyone else found that flexible seating beats having a permanent spot for networking?
