That one freelancer who turned me onto a $10 library room
Last fall I was stuck without a quiet spot to take a client call in Portland, and a guy named Marcus at the public library told me they rent out study rooms free for 2 hours. He even showed me the online booking page right there. It honestly beat every cafe with $7 coffee and spotty wifi. Has anyone else found hidden cheap work spaces like that in their city?

Walked in, which was a mistake on my part. Ended up waiting an extra hour and a half while people with reservations strolled right past me. My planning skills are basically just hoping things work out.
