The library coworking day went downhill fast after 3 visits

I tried the free library coworking setup downtown twice last month and it worked fine. Third visit on a Tuesday morning, a kids' reading group took over the whole quiet floor by 9:30 AM. Then a guy on a video call started negotiating a lease with his speaker on. I packed up after 45 minutes and went home, lost half my morning. Is there a way to scout a space for noise before committing, or do I just need to pay for a dedicated room somewhere like the WeWork on 5th?
