Tried a coworking day pass for the first time last Tuesday and it completely changed my mind about working from home

I've been freelancing from my apartment for about 2 years now. Always thought coworking spaces were overpriced and distracting. But last Tuesday I had to meet a client near downtown and figured I'd try the day pass at The Work Spot for $25. Honestly? I got more done in 4 hours there than I do in a normal full day at home. The background noise actually helped me focus. Has anyone else had that experience where they thought they hated something but ended up loving it?

Yo that's no joke honestly. I've seen so many stories online about people getting hooked on stuff they thought they could just try once. It's wild how something that seems harmless at first can totally take over your life. Your friend should probably get some help or at least talk to someone who knows what they're doing with this kind of thing. It's not worth losing control over a quick thrill or whatever. Hope she's doing okay and can pull away from it before it gets worse.

@the_olivia yeah that's how it always starts, someone says "just try it" and then boom you're hooked. I've had friends who thought they could handle it and now they're stuck too. It's scary how fast it goes from trying something once to needing it every day.
