Tried that new coworking space downtown and the wifi died at 2pm
I was in the middle of a Zoom call with a client when the connection just dropped, and it took them 45 minutes to get a tech out. Has anyone else had a coworking space totally fail on internet reliability?

I was in the middle of a Zoom call" - yeah, that's the real test, isn't it? Everyone's fine until they need to look legit in front of a client. But here's something nobody brings up: coworking spaces that advertise "high speed internet" often don't tell you they're sharing a single residential-grade connection with 50 people. I've watched the speed drop to dial-up levels at places near me when lunch rush hits. You're basically gambling on whether the guy streaming Netflix in the corner is going to tank your meeting. Might be worth asking them for their actual bandwidth number and how many users they've got before signing up.

Wait, wait. They seriously share ONE residential connection with 50 people? That's INSANE. I always just assumed they had actual business fiber or something. Now I'm picturing the whole place grinding to a halt because some guy in the corner is watching 4K cat videos. Honestly that makes me never want to sign up for one of those places without a written guarantee on the bandwidth. It's basically a scam pretending to be a workspace.
