Found out my load chart was outdated by 8 years
Was checking specs for a 50-ton pick yesterday and noticed the year on my laminated load chart didn't match the manual. Looked it up on the manufacturer site and the new chart shows 15% less capacity on certain boom lengths. How often do you guys check for updated load charts?

15% less capacity on certain boom lengths" yikes! That's a big difference. I had a buddy who ran an old chart for years and only found out when a load tipped the crane over.
