Stumbled on a picture of the old crane at the Port of Seattle from 1975

I was looking at some historical port photos online and saw the old guy they used to have, a P&H 670TC. The caption said its max lift was only 35 tons, which honestly surprised me (I guess I'm just used to the newer gear). It really makes you think about how they built things back then with less power. Anyone else ever come across an old machine that made you appreciate the modern ones a bit more?

You ever get to touch the controls? @the_riley, that's so cool his grandpa ran one. I saw one at a fair once and the sheer size of it was wild.

Respectfully disagree, @cora813. That old gear had real grit.

My buddy's grandpa used to drive one of those old beasts.
