Can we talk about how a prompt about a locked door turned into a 3-hour argument at my writing group in Toledo?
I brought in "write about someone stuck somewhere they cannot leave" and one guy wrote 900 words on a stuck elevator, then refused to cut it, so we spent the whole meetup on his draft instead of anyone else's. How do you all handle a prompt that lets one person run away with the room?
