Forked out $40 for an AI prompt generator and it gave me nonsense about space llamas

I bought this tool claiming to write unique creative writing prompts in seconds, but it just churned out stuff like 'a detective who only speaks in cake recipes.' Now I'm out forty bucks and stuck with a list of unusable ideas. Has anyone else had a subscription or tool that was a total waste for generating prompts?

The 4chan thread I saw last week had people feeding these prompt tools into themselves recursively until they broke. I mean, maybe the real issue is that a machine can't surprise you if it's just remixing data it already has. Idk, forty bucks seems steep for something that basically guesses what you want instead of understanding it.

Man, people are really overthinking a tool that's just fancy autocomplete with a price tag.

Forty bucks for a prompt generator is like paying for a fortune teller who just reads your horoscope back at you. Idk, seems like everything these days is selling shortcuts that end up being longer routes to the same dead end.
