Had a week where every writing prompt I tried turned into a dumpster fire
Last Tuesday I tried a "letter from a villain" prompt and ended up with a 3-page rant about someone's parking habits. Anyone else have prompts that just refuse to cooperate and take a weird turn?

That "3-page rant about someone's parking habits" line cracked me up, because that's exactly the kind of left turn prompts love to take. I tried a "sci-fi first contact" one last month, and it somehow turned into a detailed argument about why automatic doors are unnecessary in a perfect society. The brain just grabs whatever personal grievance is floating around and runs with it, I guess.

Respectfully, I think the mind just follows whatever thought pops up first, not some deeper grievance.

My buddy tried a "write a poem about the ocean" and it went off on a tangent about his neighbor's leaf blower. The AI just can't help itself, man.
