Hit a 30 day streak on my flash fiction prompts, first time ever
I used to only write when inspiration hit, which meant maybe once a month and always at 2am with a half-empty coffee. Then last month I started using a random prompt generator site and committed to one tiny story every night before bed, no matter how bad it was. The game changer was turning off my phone and writing in a cheap notebook I keep on the nightstand, that way I can't overthink or edit as I go. Now I'm 30 days in and I actually look forward to seeing what dumb idea my brain comes up with at 11pm. Has anyone else found a weird routine that finally made daily writing stick for them?
