Tbh my version of that trick is just staring at a blank screen thinking really hard counts as progress. Ngl I've got a whole graveyard of documents with just a first line and a second line that starts with "Actually wait no." Honestly you gotta write five terrible opening sentences before the good one even knows you're trying.
