Warning: that writing prompt about the empty coffee shop hit me weirdly hard
So I was scrolling prompts last Tuesday night and there was one about a barista who never speaks but remembers every regular's order exactly. Nothing crazy, right? But then this comment from some user named mothman_stan said "the silence IS the character, not the obstacle."
That one line made me rethink how I approach every prompt now. I've been forcing conflict into quiet moments for like 2 years. Has anyone else had a random comment completely rewire their writing brain? Or am I just late to this obvious thing?
