It was simpler than I thought, just filling out a form online. A few weeks later, the error was fixed and my score improved. Seriously doubt it's that big a deal! Credit scores change all the time based on lots of stuff. Lenders usually look at your whole report, not just one error. Spending weeks on a tiny fix seems like overkill to me.
