Just realized my credit limit barely moved in 8 years after a bank trip in Austin
I sat down with a banker at a Chase branch in Austin last month and he pulled my file, turns out I never asked for a CLI once since 2016 so my $3,000 limit was stuck. Has anyone else had to fight just to get a measly $500 bump after a decade of on-time payments?

Guess I see it a little differently. Banks don't really bump your limit unless you ask, and $3,000 is pretty standard for a starter card. Eight years of on time payments is great, but you might have gotten better results if you'd called once a year or so.

Wait, eight years without a single call is a real thing?
