PSA: it took me 14 months to get a $63 medical bill off my credit report
I had a $63 bill from an urgent care visit in Denver that I never got a statement for, and it went to collections without me knowing. I disputed it online twice, got denied both times, then finally called the collection agency and asked for proof of the debt, which they could not produce, so it came off. Has anyone else had luck just calling the collector directly instead of going through the dispute portal?
