PSA: that $35 credit monitoring service did nothing for me in Detroit
Paid $35 a month for 2 years and only found out about a fraudulent charge when my bank called, so has anyone actually had one of those services catch something before the bank did?

Those services are basically just watching a screen. Your bank has way better fraud detection because they see all the actual transactions. I dropped mine after the first year, total waste of money.
