Ditched my antivirus after 6 months of trial, now I just use the built-in one

I kept reading that Windows Defender was enough, but I was skeptical of free stuff, so I ran a paid AV alongside it for 6 months and it flagged zero real threats, and on my last scan Defender caught a sketchy PDF that the paid one missed, so what's your take on those combo firewall apps?

My old Norton subscription did the same thing, three years and it never caught anything my firewall didn't already block. I switched to Defender full-time last year and honestly it's been smoother, those combo tools just add clutter.
