I just read that most people reuse the same password across 14 different sites

Found this stat in a report from a security company called SpyCloud. I mean, I knew password reuse was bad, but 14? That's insane. It really hit me how one data leak could unlock so much of someone's life. Has anyone here actually managed to use a different password for everything?

Oh wow, that's terrifying. I use a password manager now, but I was absolutely guilty of that for years.

Password managers are great, but writing them down on paper isn't the worst thing. At least it's not all floating around online.

Switched to a password manager after my notebook got coffee spilled on it. Never looked back.
