Spent 6 hours troubleshooting a connection issue that was just a loose cable
Turned out the ethernet cord was barely plugged into the wall jack the whole time, has anyone else wasted a whole afternoon on something that dumb?

Wait, wasn't it an ethernet cable, not an ethernet cord? I catch myself saying "cord" all the time too, but technically they're cables with the little clip on the end.

Nah bro, I hear people call them ethernet cords all the time and nobody even blinks. It's like how everyone says "wifi" when it's technically a router and a modem, the name just sticks.
