Update: I saw my own router password sitting in a browser tab for 8 months
I logged into my router admin page back in November to set up a guest network and left that tab pinned. Last week my laptop fan was loud so I cleaned up tabs, and there it was, username admin and the password typed right in the login box, sitting open while I worked at coffee shops. My neighbor's kid set up that password for me 3 years ago and it was just my street name plus 123. I changed it to a random 16 character string and wrote it on paper, and I also turned off remote admin which had been on the whole time. How do you all keep track of logins for stuff like routers without just taping it to the wall?

My trick is a cheap pocket notebook that lives in my desk drawer, and I write down every router and wifi login the second I change it because no way am I trusting my brain. Also worth checking if yours has a guest network set up in a way that random people can't just hop on and poke around your settings.
