Client moved my Friday deadline to Tuesday at 9pm, and I lost a $600 weekend
Last Friday I had a brand guide due for a client who runs a bakery chain out of Austin, and at 4pm she texted asking if we could push it to Tuesday because her partner wanted to "see it fresh." I said sure, then she sent a follow up at 8pm saying actually Tuesday at 9pm, and I spent Saturday and Sunday redoing stuff that was already done, which meant I skipped my cousin's wedding. How do you all price the weekend you lose when a client moves a due date, do you just eat it or do you send a change order?
