Hit a weird milestone: 10 straight client revisions without a panic attack
I’ve been freelancing for about 4 years now, mostly graphic design for small businesses in Portland. Finally got to a point where a client asked to push the deadline up by 3 days and I just said 'okay' without spiraling. I think the trick is that I stopped hiding my file structure and started sharing a live Google sheet with the client from day one, so they can see exactly where I’m at. Has anyone else found a simple system that keeps last-minute changes from feeling like a crisis?

Oh come on, is a few client revisions really that big of a deal? I mean you're a graphic designer not a brain surgeon, nobody's life is on the line here. Seems like you just needed to stop caring so much about what they think and that's not really some major milestone.

Lol I had a client once who wanted me to redo the entire color palette 4 times in one week. I started sharing a dumb little asana board where I check off tasks and they can see it. It made them stop asking me for updates every 30 minutes. Also I found that telling them I have a real human schedule like "I'm at the dentist Tuesday at 2" really sets the tone. They stop treating you like a robot.
