I finally figured out why my last invoice took 3 days to send (it was one stupid checkbox)
So my deadline got moved up by a week on a Thursday night and I was scrambling to get paid before the weekend. I spent almost 3 hours fighting with my invoicing app because the payment link kept coming up blank, and I was convinced it was broken. Turns out I had ticked a box labeled 'send as draft' back in March and forgot about it, so every invoice since had been sitting in limbo. I only found it because I compared my settings to a video from a guy in Boise. Has anyone else lost real time to one dumb setting they set months ago and forgot?

Setting a checkbox in March and then wondering for months why nothing works is a special kind of pain. That little box was just sitting there, quiet, messing up your money the whole time. At least now you know your app wasn't broken, your memory was. I once turned off auto-save on some doc and lost a whole afternoon of work, so trust me, you're not alone in this club. The worst part is the app never warns you, it just happily lets you trip over your own past self.
