I used to say yes to every rush fee, then a client pulled a 3-day deadline on a 2-week logo job
I used to just eat it and work nights, but after last month when a guy in Austin cut my 2-week logo job down to 3 days, I started charging 50% more for anything under a week. He paid it without blinking, which honestly made me feel dumb for not doing it sooner. Anyone else have a rate that finally made the panic worth it?

Charging more just trains clients to expect rush work as normal.
