I was sure weekend deadlines were fine until a client moved a Friday 5pm to Saturday 8am in Denver
Last month a Denver client pushed a Friday 5pm handoff to Saturday 8am with a one line email, and I stayed up until 2am rewriting copy I had already finished. What changed my mind was looking at my last 6 rushed jobs and seeing 4 of them came back with fixes, so the panic work is costing me more than saying no would. How do you all price or push back on a weekend drop like that without burning the bridge?

Charging a rush fee for weekend turnarounds filters out the clients who actually respect your time.
