My printer died at 11pm with 40 pages still to scan and the deadline moved to 8am
Client emailed at 9:47pm Monday saying the drop moved from Friday to Tuesday morning. Cool. I had a paper contract to scan and send back, 40 pages of it. Printer jammed twice, then just gave up and flashed a light at me I've never seen before. I unplugged it, plugged it back in, nothing. So I drove to the 24 hour FedEx on 5th at midnight and paid $28 to scan the rest on their machine. Their scanner cut off the top inch of every page. I didn't notice until 1am.
Is there a scanner under $200 that doesn't do this? Or is my only real move just refusing paper contracts going forward?
