PSA: My sister told me to stop answering 5pm emails, and I finally tried it
My sister Kim, who does taxes from her apartment in Denver, kept telling me to stop replying to clients after 5pm because I was training them to expect me at all hours, and I shrugged it off for almost a year. Then a guy moved a Tuesday deadline to Friday 9am on a Thursday night, and I sat on the reply until 8am instead of jumping on it. Has waiting till morning ever backfired on you, or did it actually reset the whole thing?

Waiting can easily blow up if the client needed an answer that night.
