Took a chance on that $15 dashboard template after missing a deadline last month and it saved me 6 hours on this week's report.

I was sure it'd be junk from some random seller but the filters alone caught a data mistake I'd have missed otherwise, has anyone else had a cheap tool actually pull through like that?

Used to think cheap tools were always junk but that template proved me wrong. Sometimes the random finds actually work better than the expensive stuff.

Totally agree with this @sagejackson. Sometimes you find those weird brands that clearly put all their effort into function instead of fancy packaging. It's like the tool equivalent of finding a hidden gem at a thrift store.

Learned that lesson myself with a random torque wrench I picked up at a garage sale. Works perfectly fine five years later while my buddy's expensive Snap-on sits in his toolbox with a broken mechanism. Sometimes the off-brands just hit different.
